She is from the US ... she changed her kennel name from shadyhill and is using her husband's first name. |
I had a negative experience with this breeder as well. I believe I had a "bait and switch" pulled on me. Alot of things never added up. I was unable to really express my concern and explain anything to her regarding that because I was treated badly and could never get a word in edge wise with her. The breeder disappeared and would no longer respond to me. My dog is healthy for the most part other than a knee problem in one leg, but I am convinced it is not the same dog I was sent pictures of and paid for. Hair color and facial features were nothing like the pictures I had. I will never have an animal shipped to me ever again. I will personally meet anyone I deal with if I ever want to buy another dog or cat. Her husband's name is Randy to the best of my knowledge. I am just feeling very lucky at this point after reading your posts that I actually received a dog. |
probably she pass by big things in her life, she speak to me and explain me , and i like our contact conversation, she seams to be a pretty person who have bad time in her life. she assure me that she is gonna send mines and i trust her promess. |

Just thought I would mention that you can go to anywho.com and put in her first and last name along with the state she lives in and it will give you possible addresses and phone numbers. This is really none of my business, but I do feel, that if things transpired like you say, it is very wrong. I am sorry to hear you both were scammed by this person. I do not have any information but I added her name and the kennels name to the Tags so that if anyone in the future is researching her they will find out what happened to you. |
Thank you. Guess its just a lesson learned I was way to trusting stupid me. I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else please check twice and three times before sending your hard earned money to a stranger. Melanie keeps changing her breeding program's name so that leads me to believe she knows what she is doing and isn't just having a hard time like every other human today is. I'm very sad writing this because I really did trust her words spoken to me. |

She has contacted me now .... She says she will be sending my refund. I can only pray this is the last of this. |

hi, just a question , how much time now you wait for your money or dog, cause me it is almost 3-4 ans now, so she often offer me my refund, she tell me as soon as she get money, but almost a couple of months now i don t have news from her |

All this time has gone by and Melanie never sent my money. Im just here to warn anyone looking for a puppy. She usually pops up on puppy find or has a friend post her puppy for sale on their site. She usually will go on puppy find after the dust settles and under a new name. Please anyone wanting a puppy do your research I fell for the beautiful puppy picture and let my heart act before doing further research and this person never sent my refund even after emails saying she would. Feeding me the saddest stories imaginable (seriously) and my heart kicked in again and again and again because my Lord says to have mercy so that He can also be merciful to me, and she continued to take advantage of that now look its years later and this Melanie person wont even pick up a phone call or answer any emails. Please do your research and even more before sending thousands to a complete stranger for a yorkie pup. |
