Well it 4:50am she has had those contractions all night. She has definately dropped, the pup seems to have moved down and it was center/right side but now when she has a contraction I can now see it on the left. I know in the xray the pups head was up by the ribs so I think it's trying to turn. I sure don't want a breach. Do these contractions always last this long. I started noticing them about 3:00 yesterday. She does not look like they are hurting her, she's uncomfortable but not destressed. Her temp has dropped also, it was 98.3 at 3am. So that's the latest from Texas She is resting so I guess I'll do the same. Back in a few..............

Well you're right about those contractions working the puppy into the birth canal/position. Head first is nice, but breach/butt first is pretty normal also, My female had two that way without too much extra effort. As long as Bella is not in distress, it sounds as if things are progressing normally. Good luck........I'll try to sneak a peak on how things are going while I'm at work today.

Hopefully we have progress, temp was 98.3 it's been that for about 7 hours so its consistant. Shyloh is my one whelping, Bella is my other female. I have 2 girls and one naughty little boy. Have a great day.....

Contractions still working on that pup. She def dropped, we are still working on it, lots of potty breaks, nesting up a storm, we are having this puppy today......I hope.lol;)

I just heard temp dropped and she's dialating!!! Today is the day for puppy births!! I am excited to see the size of your pup! Good luck to you! I hope it is a fast and smooth whelp! :animal36 PUPPIE woooohooo!!
