Frankly, the timeline is off...if this male was gone 6 months, these are NOT his pups. The female is pg for 58-63 days before delievery. and these born on Jan. 8 ar Appox. 8 weeks old. DO THE MATH that's only around 4 months any way you do add it up.
So she first needs to be a little more responible about knowing when and where her dogs are being bringing more into the world. | I noticed that in the very beginning of this thread that the timing was off but let that go because I just could not wrap my brain around all of the other issues. Quote:

I totally agree.
Tell you friend to get both dogs fixed and to stop breeding without any knowledge of the background and genetic testing be done

You are absolutely right about people on here giving advice to my questions, but they are not PASSING JUDGMENT, they are simply answering the question presented to them. Also, to you and anyone else that feels that my friend is irresponsible. Let me say this, she resued her female yorkie and was told that her baby was told that she was "fixed"--well, apparently not. So, fast forward-- four girls pups. She is only trying to seek knowledge and I was ONLY trying to help her out. She's not a breeder, she's not trying to be a breeder; she's only trying to seek answers to some questions that she has--and I was trying to help her by asking people on this end. THAT'S IT, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS...
Also, you need to take notes from Mardelin and just simply make suggestions and offer advice. Not pass judgment on a person character. | I personally would like to know the name of the rescue that she adopted this UNSPAYED female from? It is irresponsible for a rescue to rehome any dog without it being spayed/neutered AND to allow any rescue into a home that has an unaltered male living in it. Legitimate rescues take what they do very seriously and would be APPALLED that your friend is now breeding a dog that was thought to be altered. Like I said in my original post, she needs to spay and neuter both of these dogs. There are clinic that will do it for a low cost. Better yet she should return the female to the rescue so that it can be spay and given a home that would not allow this type of care to be given to their animal.
As for the dog having 4 more female pups that make me sick to think what they will be doing in about a year. This is totally irresponsible pet ownership. If this dog is from a rescue as you say, she is not even AKC registered, nothing is known about the background of this dog and she is breeding her AGAIN. Once is an oops~twice is wrong and yes adding to the problem of 10,000,000 PTS each year. After reading all of your update on your "friend" I hope you are on line with her right now and make her aware of all of the controversy that has arisen from your original post. Maybe she will then return that female to the rescue that she originally came from . Better yet, have her turn her over to a good rescue and allow then to find her a wonderful home that will treat her as a PET and not a breeding machine. |
