We still have one more to go and we dont feel any movement.

yes I read one of your past thread stating she was due on 03-04-2009 is that from the first or last tie? also shes under a year old so that might be some of the problem. shes just to young. I have known a ladys dog to have pups at this same age. but some times you get lucky.Im so sorry this has happened to your Bella, her heart must ache for those poor babies. please keep us updated if she has any more. if she dosnet have the last one and you know theres 3 then you may need to take her to the vet. has she passed any of the placentas?if not she will need to go to the vet any ways.

Is she calm now? Is she still in labor? 3 hours is a long time in between pups. It's not unheard of but usually after no more than 1 hour of labor they have a pup. Is her labor starting and stopping? Did the vet say anything about bringing her in? Sorry for all the questions but if you know one is still in there, maybe you should go to the vet. They could detect a heartbeat to know the pup is alive or not and make a decision there on what to do. I didn't realize the time that had passed and would be at the vet with my girl in the same situation.

She is calm now. I have talked to the vet several times and they have not recommended I come in. She has not delivered a placenta. I am headed to the vet.

Okay so I called the vet and they basically told me there was no reason to bring her in.

??????? I don't understand that at all. Is there no other vet you can call? Seems like a girl with 2 stillborns and another one to go would be an emergency.

I dont understand this vet either. No reason to bring her in? her puppys are dieing and shes not passed any placentas, She may need a c-section and or a shot after words to clean her out. Is your vet even in the office at this time? I would call around for the nearest vet Hospital and get her in asap. you dont want some thing to happen to her. keeping her in my T & P. im so sorry this is happening.

We have a girl!! The vet I was calling is the only Emergency vet for about 20 miles. Turns out the woman on the phone with me was no tthe vet but the receptionist playing the part and she is no longer employed. The vet was pretty furious when I go there and told him what she had said. He thinks the problem with the first 2 was that they were feet first and the cord was pinched. Bella is doing great and so is her little girl. Bella is cleaning her so much it is too cute. I will post a picture later but right now I am going to get some sleep.

THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH for all of your support on this very difficult night!!!!

Oh my goodness; what a trying night you had. That is so sad and I am so sorry for the loss of Bella's first two pups. I am sure you did everything possible to save them. I was so pleased and relieved after reading each post to come to a happy ending with the live birth of the last pup. I'm sure you felt the same way, 10x more, when you heard of/saw the last pup born alive and well.

Congratulations on your new little Princess (will that be her name:p)! Can't wait to see pictures.

Im so happy to hear your 3rd puppy made it. I am deeply sorry about the first two. You and Bella deserve a good night sleep. Cant wait to see pics.

Been thinking about Bella and You all night.......I was so happy to see that she had her baby girl and all is well:Dso.......sorry You lost the other 2 but yet so...happy you have a healthy girl!!!!!!

Congratulations on the baby girl!!! Sorry for your loss though... may there little souls rest in peace...

I was toying with the thought to breed Minnie b/c she is just so perfect but the longer I'm on the breeder talk section the more I tend to have her spayed... TOMORROW...

( For all that ask why she isn't spayed yet... we got her when she was already 10 months old and we wanted to have her and Mikki, only 4 months old then, spayed together b/c of the distance to our former vets'. Then when Mikki was 6 months old, both, first Minnie then Mikki, got in heat. When they where done we got the news that we'll have to move shortly after and wanted to wait until we are at our new home since we had to drive 2000 miles from MD to NM... Now we are all settled in and ready to have it done...)

This is this first ive been able to get on line today, But I have thought about you and Bella all night. Im so happy to hear she ended up with the little girl, bless their hearts.get some much deserved rest hun. :thumbdown to the lady that talked to you at the vets. im so sorry about that. RIP sweet little babys.

I am so very happy that Bella's little girl made it, so heartbreaking about the other two babies, but you did everything you could, it sounds like. I am not a breeder so I dont know about birthing puppies, (but I am about to find out, as MY princess is now in first stages) but it had to be scary for you, and then to call the vet and keep being told it is okay to stay home, by a RECEPTIONIST!!!! I am not sorry she lost her job. I hope she learns a lesson in this, and I would hope she realizes she had life and death in her hands, and she chose death. Sorry if that sounds mean, but I dont care.

It doesnt sound mean at all, when I arrived and realized I how much she had lied to me it was everything for me not to resort to violence.

Here is Bella and he little miracle about 2 minutes after she was born. I was clicking with the blackberry at the vet.

Having problems with the picture size!!

I am so happy Bella has a baby girl to love. Thank the good Lord she
has one after what she and you have been threw. I am so sorry
for her loss. Bless both of you. What a sweet picture of mommy
and baby.

Congrats on your little pup.
And I am so sorry about the lost of the first two.
You and Bella must be relieved that it's over and glad to have at least one.

Sure glad you went on into the vet and got past that lady on the phone.
