| Just Stay Calm! Green discharge doesn't always mean the worst. Keep your vet on standby... If her temp spikes get her to the vet immediatly. In the mean time you need to get your whelping supplies together and keep taking her temp. You can put a little dollop of KY just inside her vulva (Don't push anything back inside though) this will help lubricate her passage. Keep us posted. it is important that you stay calm she doesn't need any added stress!! |

| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Just seeing this thread for the first time and wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you and Roxie will say a prayer that all goes smoothly with her whelp/c-section. I will check back for an update after work today. Sounds like she is getting very close.

| I want start by all the input and concern about my baby girl. Roxie had 2 baby girl yesterday afternoon, but one was stillborn and couldn't be revived. She was suppose to have 4 per her xray, so after no more contractions after 2 hours I took her to the vet...after oxytocin there was nothing...so repeat xray showed nomore babies. The says they were reabsorbed, I had no clue this could happen with her so far along???? At least I have one baby girl and a new mommy to care for, it has been a depressing for weeks. Thanks again! |
