This morning she had 2 puppies, a boy and a girl. The boy was breach, no problem. After the 2nd puppy she was acting weird like she was going to have another one (the Vet said 3 from her xray). After an hour and still no third puppy, husband took her to the Vet and they took 2 more xrays and Vet said no more. Okay, fine, brought her home. Now the 2 puppies cords were chewed too far and the puppies were bleeding. Got the boy to stop, but not the girl. Husband has now taken them to Vet to check out and possibly stitch up. Will keep you posted.

The sweet little girl died early this morning. The Vet said she had a hernia, might have been from Layla pulling the cord to far out or chewing too far down. So sad, this morning Layla was wandering all around the house looking for her baby. The boy is doing great, gained 1/4 oz since yesterday. This is the first time I've ever had a puppy die, think I might retire from breeding. I get too emotional and way too attached. Thanks all for the warm wishes.

Im so sorry to hear about your little girl passing... it is hard to loose one, but you have one healthy one that needs you. i will keep you in our prayers.

Thanks Ya'll for the sweet and kind words. The little boy is doing well, he's thriving and gaining weight.

and just scoots all over his little bed. I bought an extra tiny stuffed animal for his bed since his sister died and he has started to crawl over it....too cute!!
