How did your night go? Is momma settling down with those puppies? Did you find your little lost one? (Just checking in) And in response to the 'other side' of this thread.... I don't think her point to the thread was regarding if she should sleep through a whelping, it sounded like it was sharing her hardship and looking for some support. The first threads I started after coming to YorkiTalk were questions about breeding and immediately the thread went in a whole new direction from some people who were looking to "crash" the thread. I had to think for a few days if I should stay on this forum because that's not what I needed when asking some questions. (JMO) |
Very sorry--- I didn't mean to pick on anyone. Many things can go wrong and I think we all wish we could go back and change the way we did this or that with a litter. I don't know anything about the OP and don't follow YT closely at all. I am sorry for her and know she feels awful, and I don't want to make that worse for her. Stuff happens. I posted for benefit of any inexperienced breeders out there who may not know that you really need to plan to be awake for these things, and maybe have some extra help available. This is incredibly hard work. |
what can i say my friend loves me:D and she knew i was already upset this morning as i was leaving for work i checked on the mama and babies again and she had placed the deceased puppy back in the bed with her, so sad. its smelled awful so of course i disposed of it. the other 2 babies are doing marvelous |
