nobody said breeders shouldn't get paid for their time. Yea i do realize how much work goes into it we use to breed shetland sheep dogs. So yea been there done that but everytime your not going to occure the emergency c-sections. Yea you have the vet bills, food cost , being on call for 12 weeks and no we don't expect you to give them away but if you sell them for 1000.00 and up your making some money. Yea your right people that pay for them are more than likely can pay the vet bill but my point was being that sometimes that people with alot of money don't always give the best home. To me i look at the same way you'd place a kid. Do you give them all the time to the people with the money or the place where they will get all the love and attention they deserve. So sorry if it offended you but i feel money isn't everything. I feel like a loving home is what counts the most. Yea i did pay a good bit for mine but i feel sometimes theres people who can't.... | Believe me, any money I do make goes right back into my dogs. Vet care, yearly dentals, quality foods, grooming supplies, the list goes on.
I do not charge unreasonable fees, but buying a yorkie should be like any other important purchase in your life, if it's something you really desire.. it's worth saving up for. |
