We are on puppy watch!! 4 Attachment(s) Destiny is pregnant and is on day 58. Last time she had the pups on day 58 as well and there is a good chance it may happen again. Right now she is trying to rest but isn't able to do so for very long. I feel sorry for her, those pups are really kicking at her. Her milk is fully in and the pups seem to be moving down the birth canal. I took her temperature last night and it was 100.7 and just took it now and it is 99.2. Her breathing is a little heavier but not to the point of labor. Last time she had pups she showed no symptoms. She was eating and playing all day. I had her on my lap for a minute and she yelped once and within 5 minutes the puppies started coming. No panting, digging, or any signs. I am hoping this time she will give me a sign but until then she is being watched closely. Anyways here are some pictures for you all to enjoy. Anyone want to guess how many pups she is having? I will give you a hint, she is having more than one puppy, lol. Oh and she is normally 5lbs. First picture is her Whelping pen. It looks small in the pics but it is a pretty big area, bigger than your normal size xpen. The next few pictures are belly pictures of her in her whelping box. She loves her box, as soon as I got it out, she crawled right in!! |

Wow, Destiny is beautiful! Just a random, stab in the dark, I'll guess 3 puppies; all beautiful little girls just like their mommy :p Good luck to you and the mama to be; I'll be keeping my eye on this thread for the big event. Her whelping area looks great BTW - fit for a princes! |

Just thought I would give you all an update. Sorry I haven't been back on sooner, I am not feeling too good.:( We are still waiting on puppies. Destiny is laying around a lot more and seems restless. Today she threw up some as well. Her temperature is still staying the same at 99.2. Poor girl, you can just tell she is uncomfortable. I will be so glad when they are. In the mean time I think I need to come up with some names. I will be keeping a girl and naming her Trinity, anyone have name suggestions that would go with this? Oh and I guess I forgot to mention it in my first post. Destiny did have an xray so I know how many little ones we are expecting. I will wait a little while longer before I tell everyone.:p |

Tracy - I am saying a prayer that you will have a speedy and safe whelping. Those few hours are so very stressful. I guess 4 pups - 2 boys (Telfar, Tuscany, and Tulullah). I will be checking your thread frequently for updates. |
Awh Tracey, I thought for sure that Destiny would have had her babies by now. Poor little girl. With all the turmoil that I just went through, I am SO wishing her a speedy delivery!!! :xfingers: Oh, I love the name Trinity. :thumbup: I say name the others Neo (m), Morepheous (m) and Oracle (f). Guess you can tell I'm routing for two boys and two girls! :rolleyes: I hope you feel better and keep us posted! :big_hug: |

2 Attachment(s) Still no puppies. But Destiny seems to be getting more miserable. She is so restless right now and will start crying if we leave her sight for even a minute. I think we will both be glad when they get here. Her temperature is higher than it has been in days which often happens right before it drops again and puppies start to arrive. I think the puppies will be here within a day. I don't think I will be getting a lot of sleep tonight. Oh and for those of you who guessed 4 pups, you are right!! The xrays showed four puppies, one more pup than last time!! I will keep everyone posted on her progress!! Oh and here are a couple pictures of Destiny taken just a little bit ago... |

Poor baby...I don't know anything about preggie Yorkies but she looks huge. Maybe today will be her day! |

Awwww, hugs to Destiny. She looks like she's ready for things to get moving. Comparing your latest pics with those on the original post, it looks like those pups are lining up and getting ready too. Good luck........I'll be watching. |
Update: Just stopping in real quick to give an update. Destiny lost her mucus plug and her temperture has dropped to 98.9, the lowest it has been yet. So hopefully puppies will be on their way soon!! |

I just saw this thread today and started reading through it....I was going to guess 4 by looking at the first photos, but I see you already gave it away! After seeing the most recent photo I was more inclined to say 5 though! I can't wait to hear how her delivery goes!! Keep us posted! I am hoping that my Rosie is pregant right now...she would be 8 days today.:thumbup: |
