sorry for the misunderstanding and confusion i caused |
3.4 pds:eek: |
Yes, you count from the first day of breeding. My Gellica (8 lbs) gave birth on day 58 - so yes, they can go early. I'm not sure why she has a low temp now though. Normally, the temp won't drop until 12-24 hours before whelping. |
wow to breed such a small yorkie is not safe.. why did u even breed her? What was the purpose? You are only putting the life of your dog in jeopardy as well as the life of the puppies...an ultrasound should have already been done |
3.4 lbs :( i hope all goes well for the tiny momma |
well as you can see she came n posted and never posted back, hopefully this little female is ok |
Princess Sorry i was out of town for a little bit Princess had one pup about 2weeks early but he did he wasnt develop all the way but the doc says that she may carry the rest full term she's doing good running around as usual so looks like everything will work out fine and once again my dog was not 3.4lbs when i bred her. |
My Yorkie was raped  Ok I am new and have a HUGE problem.. Heck.. I don't even know if I am posting this question right :0/ so here it is — We have a yorkie that had her first heat around the 1st or second week of September, I didn't even know she was in heat till I noticed she was Very swollen, I have a 7 year old male Shihitzu (Harley) that is not fixed (MY BAD) and when I noticed Kisses (Yorkie) was in heat, I did my best to keep them seperated, Obviously It was to late:cry2: Took Kisses to the vet 2 weeks ago they took an xray of her and saw nothing, but I know she is pregnant, she has all the signs and I can even feel the pupps moving in her belly... I suspect she is due 1st or 2nd week of November, but I am afraid for her, she is so small and young, I see her nipples are now very swollen and she licks her self as if she is trying to clean herself in her private area :embarasse can someone tell me what signs to look for that may tell me she is starting labor or when to expect that she may be? Please help a worried grandmother thanks much |

Kisses Thank you for your reply, I do not know the exact date, as I didn't even know she was in heat. You are right. I may have taken her too soon, I will be taking her in again on Satruday, but I suspect that she may be delivering her pups 1st or 2nd week of November, as I noticed she was walking in pain around the 1st or 2nd week of September, can't remember as I didn't think she could be pregnant. |
