You know, I could laugh a little harder about it if we had actually been successful with this attempt, but there was no reward for our efforts :( It was one thing that I had not thought to worry about. I guess I didn't realize there was so much...pressure? to shoot it that far ;) I was more worried I was going to get it on my hands, or maybe my shirt or on the floor. I really thought he must have broken some sort of record for distance and height. Now my whole family needs to walk around wearing safety glasses because Diesel will not leave Lola alone even though she is not in heat (he hasn't left her alone for a couple of months now, silly teenagers ) and the hangs on to her back end for dear life as she flies through the house. It looks like they are playing superman and he's the cape. That dog has some serious grip. I don't know whats wrong with Lola. Ever since she came into heat about 3.5 months ago (appx) the boys have insisted she is still in heat. I feel like I need to steam clean daily. I have come to terms with the fact that she just may never conceive :( |
My little 5 pound male had to catch her when she was on the step lower than he and then he had no trouble after that. One little leg flying and the other to ground him to the floor to keep up the momentum. Oh gawds, the possibility is always there to have things flying around in gravity. LOL |

Sorry to laugh, but it is FUNNY! Never thought we had to wear safety gear while our dogs mate. My 19 year old son picked up our male after a tie and he got a hand full of goo. I thought he was going to puke. He gagged for over a half hour. Too funny not to let him forget it. |
