Is tonight the the night??? Her temp is 98.2 and shes not eating and extra affectionate too. I think tonight might be the night! I am so anxious, I am restless myself and trying to think if I have everything ready. I charged my camera batteries last night and have all the supplies ready..vanilla ice cream in the freezer...the waiting game begins!!! |

She is digging a little, and shes sniffing out every dark corner! She wont touch ANYTHING I give her, including a piece of yummy steak. She seems restless, paces a lot too and keeps putting her two front paws up on me. I am thinking tonight is the night or maybe tomorrow morning?? I havent checked her eyes to see if shes dialated or not. I dont think shes at that point yet though...I am trying to keep myself busy and my mind off this so it doesnt seem like eternity lol.:rolleyes: |
It sounds like it is close to the time!! Pacing and digging is one of the signs. Soon she will start shaking, panting and start pushing. Good luck on the upcoming whelp!! I can't wait to hear how things go!! |

Thanks for the support, she finally ate the piece of steak but she keeps finding places to hide, her temp is up a little from this morning so I hope its not a false alarm. Its at 99.2 now versus the 98.2, I cant remember how long their temp is suppose to stay low??? |

her xrays showed 4 puppies, she prob wont have them til later tonight or maybe early morning? I will get pics of the delivery though, if we ever get there. I knew I was going to jinx myself with this post but yet I went ahead anyway:doh: :clock: |

I knew I should have waited to say something, she hasnt shown anymore signs. She still paces around the house a bit and checks out each bedroom like it was her first time. Her temp was 98.6 this morning....still waiting....:clock: |

Oh gosh....I was hoping for some puppy news. I did go back and check for other threads & see that she is just on day 61??? So if that's the case she could still hold off for a couple of more days............or she could go anytime:rolleyes: Oh, the waiting.... and the not knowing.....it drives us nuts:confuse2:, doesn't it?:p I'll keep waiting right along with you, so keep us posted! |

Yeah she had me thinking she was going to have them early. She had a huge temp drop but still no puppies. :( I'm anxious than ever and I think I cleaned the house twice today :eek: I am sure it will all be worth the wait though! :teeth: |
My girl had her temp drop showed no signs. Then 1:30 am she started pushing on my futon in my den where i was sleeping trying to get her used the whelping box she had me fooled she said no whelping area mommy LOL. So now we are expecting again her due date is oct 2nd and I think im nesting for her been cleaning and organizing like a crazy woman. And yes her whelping box is in the den which i call the labor and delivery nursery ect room LOL. Hoping she takes to it this time around. I hope your girl goes soon wishing you a smooth whelp and healthy lil fur babies. By the way do you know how many puppies shes expecting i take my girlie this fri. for xray. |

Well I hope she gives me somewhat of a warning. lol. She actually has decent apetite back again, but shes pacing more than ever. She wont sit still. She is pacing as we speak and I am just watching her pace up and down the hall...hmm...im tired of the thermometer giving me false hopes, so i wont be relying on that too much anymore..:p |

her temp is down again 98.2?? but this time I am not going to get my hopes up. I checked with a second thermometer and it was 98.6...i will recheck in a couple hours to see if it is still low. |

yes, still waiting unfortunately. I had a false hope this past weekend when her temp dropped temporarily to 98, this morning it dropped to 98.2 and 3 hours later its at 98.4...so this might be the real temp drop. :D |
Cossing my fingers for you! I would hate it if I were in your situation.... I guess I haven't learned to be patient :p |
