well it will be 12 hours ..since the temp drop around 11:00 here (it is 9:57) now...so i bet she has those pups right after i go to bed....lol....oh well i will probably check in around 12:30 or 1:00...im not a great sleeper....any way i will be off and on from now till tomorrow.....good luck sweetie

Well, I will gladly jump on in, but I don't know how experianced whelping just one litter makes me. And a fairly easy one at that....even with the trip to the E vet. I've learned alot just reading all the breeding threads here since then, but I'm still going to be asking for everyones' help & advice when my time comes again in a year or so.

I have been gone all day...I have been thinking all day that I would miss it. LOL...Peyton should feel so special. She has attracted lots and lots of anxious ppl... This is almost getting like a movie that you can't turn off...lol I love it. I can't wait to refresh and get a ...."It's happening"!!!!

On another note, my Zoe hasn't gone yet either...looks like Peyton is gonna beat her. I'm about to do a temp. When I got home I checked her over and she looks very swollen and before she only had a little milk, now she is looking pretty full. Just with the slightest little sqeeze, i'm gettin a BIG drop of milk. My Zoe is at 64 days from 1st tie. I think her time is approaching also. I'll post temp if it's dropped.

Sorry all okay so she is and has been sprawled out on her back as though to give them a chance to line up ..... at least i think thats what they are doing as i see some puppy movement.

Sonya will be able to tell it best, but I agree.
To the best of my knowledge and based on my experience, Peyton's stomach area will feel hard as the puppies are getting in position.

whoa whoa guys.. I only have two litters of my own behind me as well. I grew up with my mom breeding and showing scotties though and I always helped with the whelping (of course my Mom did all the work. It has been my experience that they will present as two buldges (one on each side) The first thing you will see is a bubble as she is giving birth. BTW.. have you noticed if she lost her mucus plug yet? Don't worry if you haven't noticed, sometimes it just isn't apparent.
