This is why I don't post in this section anymore Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
MY whole point is that she was asking for advice and the only thing that she got was slammed. I also said IF you have nothing nice to say then you should say nothing at ALL. As far as the humane society being too full then that should apply to everyone that breeds at all........... I also think that there lots of really ugly dogs that are pumping out puppies and there owners are on here getting ALL kinds of advice. Yes. There are reputable breeders here too. But no one EVER says anything to them???? She asked for advice and she did not get it.... If breeding was only left to the show dogs then there would be several people here that would not own a Yorkie...and myself I love my babies. |

I, as a responsible/reputable breeder, have been questioned but I have never responded in an unkind manner on a open and public forum because it's their opinion whether I liked it or not. Contary to popular belief I do and have taken advice or opinions given to me when it's needed whether it's been given here or somewhere else and now practicing it because it's called "learning". I as a breeder/show exhibitor will not have everyone agree with me on how I do things and that's ok as long as I know I'm doing the right thing for my own breeding/showing program ie...health testing, breeding for the best representation of the breed and bettering my program and educate myself and others on this wonderful breed. When I stop learning as a breeder/show exhibitor then it's time to move on to something else. You can get a yorkie from a show breeder at any given time because not every puppy in a litter will be of quality for the ring. Why not wait for what I believe is worth a healthy puppy? Why breed a mixed breed when there are so many in shelters that need a home? Why not save a life rather than risk one? Again, these are just my opinions and mine alone and it's ok to agree or disagree. Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

I just want to point out, although, I dissagree with the mixing of breeds (and I shared why) I did answer your questions also...Unfortunatley this is what i got back from the op...Now who is being rude? You know what whatever ... and as for as me leaveing them unattended for the day I'm so sorry i had a family emergency that i had to leave right away and forgot to make sure they were apart ! I know this is a yorkie forum and i dont have a pure bred dog but i figured it would be ok to ask a simple damn ? ! So I am not gonna reply to this thread anymore ! |
