| Can anyone please request this thread to be shut down by the Admin? Every breeder who started breeder must have started with their first whelp. This could have happened to any breeder. You start with little to no experience at anything you do in life. A breeder with no experience or a breeder of 20 yrs. The premature whelp was mother nature and no one would have been able to save the pups.We all learned from this .I had hoped that there would not be any cold and rude comments such as this one. I feel terrible for Jenn and Chloe and of course those 4 puppies.Go ahead and bash me but we all have our opinions, I just think sympathy is really appropriate for a situation like this. If it would have happened to a 20 yr exp Breeder no one would dare say a comment like that even though it can happen to anyone. ((hugs & prayers)) Genie,Cookie,Lola & Angel |

| pups There is nothing more mean spirited then to point out a breeders lack of experince in a sad situation as this...I have bred for 35 yrs..if those pups had been born in my home, they would be exactly where they are now..at Rainbow Bridge...they could have been born at the "Mayo clinic for dogs" nd they still would have died...the litter was basically a spontanous abortion as opposed to a whelping...these things happen...and most often here is no cause found...so lay off! |

| I have been following this post for some time now. I was so excited for you when Chloe went into labor and followed along every step of the way. That excitement turned to sadness when I realized her pups were premature. It is obvious from reading your posts that you did everything humanly possible to help her pups survive and I feel your pain along with you. All I can pray for now is a good recovery for both you and Chloe and would like to add my hugs, along with all the other, for the two of you.

| You hang in there. You were a trooper and did all you could do. There were lots in here to support you and we all have learned from this thread. We all pull for all you breeders going through this and being there for the ones of us that need you. Prayers and Thoughts for you and the momma.

| Thanks again everyone. Fortunately, I didnt have to see whatever rude/mean spirited comments that were made due to everyone being on top of things as usual! I recognize that some people on here are quite rude and ill spirited - it is not something that is new to me on here. However, I know - and I am sure that most know - how absolutely amazing the breeders are on this website. This website has been my playbook for the majority of Chloe's pregnancy. The only puppies I ever saw being born were my Moms (now 14 years old) maltese. I guess she had them 12 years ago, so I was about 14 when it happened. I tried to view as many videos, etc as possible, but never saw the exact size, shape, etc of a yorkie pup. I didnt realize that something was terribly wrong until I saw the posts of the other (and absolutely adorable) puppies posted by Wookie Man (I think I got your name right!). From that point, I took fast action and attempted to do anything suggested by the many many posts on the website. The question then is: has my inexperience caused this disastrous day? Recognize, that in my earlier post the emergency vet told me NO. In fact, he stated that if the puppies were born at that hospital, they could not have saved him. For YorkieRose to point this out, and confirm his statements, should be enough for the doubters. Moreover, he was not sure why she delivered early. As all experienced and inexperienced breeders know, the first whelp usually isnt the best. He felt that it was in large part due to the fact that it was her first whelp. In addition, Chloe has been more than closely monitored, well cared for, and taken to the vet 4 times since she became pregnant to ensure her health and the health of the pups. In conclusion, the rude, ill-spirited comments serve little purpose other than to push one's own agenda of perpetuating negativity in the world. For me, I have dealt with my fair share of such comments. Clearly, though, I really dont need those comments right now. I have much more going on. THANK YOU EVERYONE, again, and again, and again, and again........You are the best.

| I just logged on and read the posts. Jenn, you have my heartfelt condolences on the loss of the puppies. I hope as time passes your heart heals and that Chloe will soon be back to playing in the sunshine. I'm so sorry.

| Jenn I am so sorry for your loss. I understand the frustration of losing a puppy, and losing the entire litter can be crushing. I wish I lived closer, I know I could use a mommy right about now as Miss Bridget is now no longer able to care for her puppies. Not to mention just having a friend to talk through everything with. I wish you luck, and give Chloe a hug, she will have a chance to be a mama again someday hugs Brandi

| I'm so sorry to see the pups didn't make it. I feel especially bad for you....we were in labor together and I know that all of us that were here yesterday morning lived every heart-wrenching minute with you. You and Chloe have been on our minds constantly since then. This has been an eye-opening experience for many of us and you have to know that some Yorkie pup in the future will be saved due to what happened to Chloe's pups and what we all will learn from that. Maybe tonight you can give Chloe a little extra spoiling...cook up a little chicken or something for her. It may help to get her out of her funk. You all take care and get some rest...you deserve it. P.S. It's Woogie Man, not Wookie. The name is from one of my little guys. He's registered as Dixie's Full Moon Boogie....so he's Woogie, as in boogie-woogie, not wookie, as in Star Wars . |

| I am very sorry that you had to go through this...A whelping of this sort is devastating to all breeders, young and old...These pups were born just too darn early and really didn't stand a chance at survival... Chloe will feel better soon...Give her extra cuddles and a few small stuffed animals to carry around...Again my condolences...
