Is there any at all that you can sqweeze to stop the bleeding? Is it a white spot or a thin spot like not fully developed? |
Any what? Not really......its really down to her tummy. Chloe keeps licking that area where its bleeding though |
Okay....stay calm...is it bleeding alot? Is there any cord there that you can squeeze or tie off for a little while till the bleeding stops? |
If she's bleeding a lot and you can't clamp it, you'll need to get it to clot. I've never had that happen before. Maybe try a small square of tape just big enough to cover the area. You'll have to get her away from mom to clot it. Don't let the baby get cold. |
Okay, she is on the heating pad between all the other pups. Chloe keeps licking the blood - at times it looks like it is stopping. It looks like she isnt fully formed - like there is white and it looks like the black was supposed to cover that area (if that makes sense) but it didnt. Should I try to feed the little one with supplement? |
dont worry about the white spot...mommy or daddy could have been a whit gene carrier or even a pie bald gene carrier(biewer)...nothing to worry about |
I wouldn't rush the feeding. Be prepared that if she isn't fully developed, she may not make it. But you can still try to stop the bleeding as Woogie Man suggested. |
White is ok..some have it..is the head black? You must stop the bleeding on the cord. There is nothing left? |
Sounds like mom is busy with her right now. If she's getting the bleeding to stop, don't interrupt her. What supplement do you have? |
Well, I think they are all boys - but Im just not sure. Chloe is still messing with her - the same as the others now. I put a piece of tape over the wound to stop the bleeding. Chloe didnt take it off, so I am going to leave it. The little ones head is black. everything except a weird patch right under its chin/chest. Esbilac - or however its spelled. |
sounds like she is fine to me.....so now we need pictures!!!!!!!!please! |
feeding Don't rush it. They will cry if they are hungry, just keep them warm. They need moms milk before any formulas, if you have Nutridrops you could put a drop on each pups tongue. |
If the baby can nurse, you shouldn't need esbilac. I have Nutri-drops here but will wait a while and give the babies a drop when things settle down. I've already given Mom some. |
