Trying to feed her some good food - she has been spoiled for the past few months or so - having her breakfast and dinner hand prepared every night. For sure, she will get something good tonight.

I thought you guys would like this - I was just looking all around my room for Chloe. Apparently, she has taken on one of my Nike sneakers as the pups. She is cuddled up close to it and laying on it. I guess she likes it better than the stuffed animal! I want her near to me, but she looks so peaceful I wouldnt dare disturb her.

:( Oh Jenn, I am so very sorry to hear that the entire litter was unable to survive. :( I am glad the rude comments were gone before you saw them. I missed them too (and am glad I did), but it still never ceases to amaze me WHY people have to be that way.:confused: But as the saying goes, "One bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch" of good YT breeders here that know what went on and why and the ones that are there to help during a whelp no matter how experianced (or inexperianced) a person may be.

Following this thread just reassures me that I don't have what it takes (at least right now, maybe never) to be a breeder. I can't imagine what you are feeling, Jenn, after the roller coaster of emotions the last two days. Bless you for taking such wonderful care of Chloe and her pups. I hope the two of you recover soon from this sad experience.

So sorry for your loss. I know what it is like to lose a newborn puppy, hard on you and the mom! Prayers going out to you and kisses to Chloe.

So sorry you lost the entire littler. It always hurts. It was sooo depressing. My female lost her first two litters, but (knock wood) hasn't lost any since. There are still a lot of emotions that come with raising a litter, and I'm sure that you will soon experience them. Once she successfully delivers a litter you will feel like it's the world's greatest miracle. They are so precious to watch them birthed, grow, and develop individual characteristics is just the greatest feeling. And then one day too quickly you usually must find homes for them. It feels good to make the new owners happy, but at the same time it's a big "let down" to have that empty nest. Anyway, know that there are a lot of us here with you, and you will learn who you can go to when you need a lift. So sorry for your lost, but God bless both you and your little Moma.
