Well I am glad you made the right choice to just love your babies and not breed them!!! Congrats on getting your new boy! I would love to see pictures of him when you get him home and settled in!!!:)

There is nothing wrong with getting a mix - it's the people who are breeding 2 breeds together intentionally that people have a problem with.

THEY'RE the ones adding to the dog overpopulation problem - and this country has a HUGE problem.....thousands of dogs are killed every single day in shelters and it'll never get better till someone puts the lid on indiscrimate breeding

judging from what Sandysbabies posted - maybe things ARE changing :)

I would get him neutered and also, your girl spayed so that there aren't any accidents.

IMOP! The answer is "NO"

I do not think that the deliberate breeding of mutts ( I have nothing against mutts) is neccessary there are far too many mixed breeds in need of homes already and since these new designer dogs are bred with the only goal being money, I think those types of breeders should be banished.

Dogs are perfectly happy never reproducing and how do I know this??? I have had many females and males who never reproduced and they were happy as clams! Dogs do not sit around regretting lost opportunities to have children...
Having said that...no one can tell you if it is safe to breed your girl, you will have to take that chance and see if all goes well....best wishes

I sometimes wish as a mother I done had all my girls raised....LOL More less with two different families...2 grown daughters and now 2 still to raise lol...And I never had any twins all single births I couldn't even imagen what a Yorkie goes through having 4, 6 or 7...God Love them! Let alone feeding all of those babies...I never breast fed any of my girls so I couldn't even imagen a Yorkies feeding all them all the time lol. You have very good points. Hugs :) Lee

No one told me motherhood lasted a life time...raising is the easy part. The emotional investment is the hard part...any and everything that happens to my two daughters, happens to me and it will be that way for the rest of my life...mothers never retire and it is for life...! That is the best part of mothering and the hardest part also...

we just got our new morkie and he is absolutely perfect and adorable. I dont know why a lot of people here are against mixed breeds, they are just as loveable. See our knew pictures of Polo and i bet youll see what i am saying.

No one is against owning a mixed breed but breeding them is a hot topic. There are already an abundance of mixed breeds in the shelters. Enjoy your morkie I am sure he is a cutie

Yes, Chanel is a lovely name, my daughter chose that name for it's her yorkie but we all love her. My son is the one who's always wanted a male morkie and again that's another pup we'll also love as a matter of fact we just brought him home yesterday and my what a doll face he is. We named our new morkie Polo.

but all puppies are cute, :pthe right grooming keeps them cuter:)
there are just as many purebreed dogs in shelters :mad:and abandoned:( as mixes.:animal-pa
i think it is the larger dogs most of all..:animal36

Please do not breed your Yorkie. There is no reason to have a litter of mutts; there are far too many mutts out there--please consider the good advice you have been given.
