Reading the nursery threads shouldn't be considered "too much trouble," and a person should always check out the sire and dam of the pup, and the kennel conditions. However, a breeder in my opinion, should be much more diligent, in finding a puppy, and care should really be taken when choosing your breeding stock. I may be wrong, but it kind of sounds like you want someone to come to you and offer to sell you their dog, and I think this would be the absolute worst way to select a dog. Anyone, who would do this is a very poor breeder indeed. They would want to get to know you and your breeding program, and you would want to do the same with them. Some people on the forum have taken several years to find suitable pets that aren't use for breeding. I recommend you take plenty of time to find a potential breeding pup. |
