Sooo Sorry :eek:Something is wrong here. I am so sorry for the gal that started this thread. She just came on looking for advice for her little girl. And I know everyone has their own opionions and exper on diff situations. But the bottom line here is that we are all here to help and support each other. There are so many good breeders with a lot of exper on this site that can give good advice if they have the whole picture. I lost a puppy with my last litter and I recieved such good advice and support, Again Thank you all for that. That is what this site is all about. Has anyone heard from the gal that actually posted this theard? I hope everything is OK. I hope everyone has a GOOD DAY!!!!:) Sue |

seems to me that the majority of the people who posted in this thread READ it as being RUDE.. of course, maybe YOU are the only one who is right. Holy cow! can't we just get along?? why is it that when a breeder tries to help someone, there is always someone that has to turn the entire thread into something that it WASN'T intended to be.. no wonder the breeders are hesitant to offer help. |
Okay...not getting involved in the fight that this thread has turned into. All I had to say was to remember that a dog's gestation length is 63 days from OVULATION. Counting from dates of breedings are only an estimate because a dog can tie many days prior to and after the actual ovulation date. |

Practice what you are preaching here in this post..I started this.. I take ownership.. you know nothing about breeding .. have never walked in our shoes.. I hope you do not ever come on here feeling you do not know what to do.. then get the same in return..I am sure you would be hurt.. I really hope this does not happen to you.. And you seem to be the one making a huge thing out of people just not agreeeing with you.. quoting every single comment..think about it.. and read it.. I made the first comment.. you had to come back... then every single post you do the same.. stay out of the breeders section if you cannot post something postive.. I do not know it all.. but it is this crap that keeps the good breeders away.. and that is just not right in my schooling.. Admin maybe this thead needs to be closed.......anne |

Yes we do want to be helpful when we are allowed to. I don't see why we can all be one happy family here at YT. Hope you have a great day. :) Lee |

With you not being a Breeder then maybe you don't see our Breeders views such as how it does get aggervating for NON Breeders to come on and post rude thoughts to someone who is in need. I don't understand why you are being so testy about all of our comments. Maybe in your eyes your comment wasn't rude but it's the way you worded it and how bluntly you put is...You could of said I hope I'm not offending anyone here or put a smiley face at the end to make it SEEM a little kinder. We Breeders don't need to take a Reality Check when it comes to telling someone to take their Yorkie to the Vet. Some of us are very experienced (Some have 25 yrs plus experience) in Breeding and Whelping Yorkies, and have already walked in their shoes there for it's called sharing WISDOM and EXPERIENCE and HELPING those who really need it and willing to ACCEPT the help we're willing to give them. I would take the Experience Breeders here WISDOM anyday over top of my VET!!! Really I would. I have come here in time of need with a whelping mother and new born babies and received GOOD life SAVING advice when I could not get ahold of my Vet. Sometimes as a Breeder you don't have TIME to run your whelping mommy or a newborn to the Vet so this is also where Experienced Breeders come on and help SAVE mommies and babies. I feel as a newcomer yourself and a new owner of a Yorkie puppy you shouldn't be coming on here being rude for one day you very well may need help from us Experienced Breeders and then no one may not want to help you in fear of getting their heads bitten off by you or in fear you'll take our help in the wrong way. I hope I've not offened you and I hope you can try to see how we feel as Breeders and I hope you have a beautiful day. Theses of course are just my OPOs as a Experienced Breeder. :) Lee |

It really wasn't going good. A lot of us sat on our hands and didn't say anything until we felt the need to speak up about the rudeness to Anne. Regardless, all we can do now is hope that the OP will respond to the PM's offering help. |

Ok so WOWWWWWWWWWWWW I didn't mean to start all of this!!! I'm gone for a day and I come back to all of this. Please stop. Yall are fighting over nothing. My feelings are not hurt. Anyways, to change the subject....my dog is doing just fine. The vet said as long as she is eating, drinking, playing, etc....she is fine. Don't know what happened but she is not to be bred again. Which turns out to be a blessing cause she is turning 5 and wasn't suppose to be bred. I didn't realize that she was in heat until it was to late. So God has his way of doing the right thing. But on the other hand, a female of mine had puppies this morning. She was suppose to have 5. Well WTF...she has 3. No more labor...not in distress......seriously. I'm never going back to the f***ing vet again. I called and all they can tell me is if she doesn't look stressed then she is fine. And that I don't need to bring her in. So by any chance....have yall ever had a puppy still in there and it didn't come out for quite some time. She stopped having labor at 8 this morning and it is 2. If there is another puppy in there...whats the chance of this happening? Could she stop being in labor and still have some in there? |
Quote:
yes, her labor could stop with a puppy in there. Do you have any calsorb or anything like that to give her? I have heard of one person on here thaat thought the bitch was thru and she had another puppy the next day. it didn't make it. I know what you mean about not goi ng back. My last two ultrasounds showed three and each girl had five.. When you feel of her tummy, do you feel any sign of contraction or anything? |
