| ![]() Hi after researching the yorkie breed IN and OUT I have finally decided to breed this wonderful breed and feel comfortable that I have something to offer to the breed. My "breeders" will be my pets and I hate refferring to dogs as breeders I think its sick. But now I am wondering should I start out with puppies to raise (which im looking to get from the WONDERFUL Natalies Yorkies) and breed them once their old enough or should I start with an adult pair. Im thinking puppies as I want to have the priviledge of raising my york's as pups to seeing them produce beautiful babies but I wanted a second opinion from my YT'ers. |

| ![]() Can't tell by your post if you now have or have ever had a Yorkie before. If not, I would suggest you get a female pup first. Watch her develop and grow to see if she would be suitable for breeding before committing to a male, too. Breeding Yorkies is something you should approach slowly and not get too committed to it before you have a chance to see if it's really for you. If you are an experienced Yorkie owner, my apologies for the 'lecture' but I would still start with a female pup. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
