I am starting to save my money and want to begin my research on a new male and female to add to my breeding program. My goal is to breed healthy and happy puppies that have show potential. I would like to show one day.
I have just purchased two new books for my library...breeding a show puppy and the complete yorkie. If you have any more books or websites to suggest. I would greatly appreciate it...if you know of a breeder that has show potential puppies, please past on their website if you feel they will work with a newcomer.... Thanking you in advance for all the help you send my way...

I wish you the best in your search for some nice quality Yorkies. Have you been to any dog shows yet? It would be good if you could find a local show breeder that you could visit and of course going to the shows would be very helpful.

I have been to a few grooming shows as a spectator and we had an AKC show here in Mississippi I found out about late...so I didn't get to see much of it... I will try this year to catch a few... :-)

I hope you have luck with what you want to do. Reading and research will help you in your dreams. Go to lots of shows and meet people.

Alex, in my avatar is awesome!! He has correct blue and shaded tan and has great conformaton, especially his top-line. The only thing I can fault him on is now that he is older, he is a lighter blue. His pedigree isnt bad either.lol

I tried to make it larger so I could look at him... no success...
I will look to see if I can find him somewhere else...

I think you just click on the picture and it goes to a larger picture. Sorry, I am REALLY computer retarded!! Are you looking for a dog to show? I got Alex from Kathy Murphy at Gold Dust Yorkies.
