what if you keep the litter, do you still have to mail it in. I only had one and I am not 100% that I am keeping her:confused: |

I do not think this is something that is required. If you read the fine print on the bottom, it is for the information purposes. Apparently they are trying to get those puppy buyers that do not register their puppies to register them by contacting them. I will have to call AKC to be clear but this is what I am thinking. |

It must be on the newer ones, because it isn't on mine. Thanks for your help. |

We just got yesterday's mail. Low and behold, I had a litter packet in there. On the Litter Record it says, in the upper right hand corner: Complete Your Breeder Records! Please fax or mail a copy of this completed Litter Record to the AKC. * Then, on the bottom it says: *By submitting this information to the AKC, you agree that the AKC has access to and the ability to use this information to encourage registration. This includes, but is not limited to, contacting individuals to whom you transferred a dog or puppy. And then for the Dog Registration Application, for Litter Owner Step 4, the online registration is back. With the 3 digit code for limited or full registration and it can be registered online. Are they going to make up their mind? |
