Pups are coming soon!!

Still no pups!!!! I was gone watering my green house (you know us in WA have to have green houses if we want a garden) I thought she would have had another one by now. My girls have pups every 15-30 mins after the first one. She is pretty small, so I would take the advise and call the vet to see what he/she says. Wouldnt hurt to just call and get his advise.

Pushing for over an hour is a sign of trouble.
But going over 2 hours betoween puppies happens ALL the time
No need to rush to the vet yet.
Keep the number handy.
Nala had 4 puppies then over 3 hours later had 3 more with her first litter

Yep they sure can.
Are you sure there is another puppy?
She is very small and that was a good size puppy.
If you didn't have x-rays and see more.
Theres even a chance its a singleton.
But yes...they can take a while as we know.
The main thing is that she should not ACTIVELY push for over an hour.

Okay I'm lost here!! I didn't read thorugh all the post, I take it maybe she's had 1 puppy? Any more?

I will say I wouldn't leave her side at all to do anything except go potty...More if this is her 1st whelping even 2nd I just worry to much maybe and don't want to leave mine for any long length of time. Just me tho. I'm a worry wort

I'll check back in a few, I'm gonna run find something to eat since I got lazy and didn't cook tonight...I seem to be doing that a lot here lately, must be that Darn Change Of Life thing hitting me again. Best of luck, Lee

Hey Guys! Sorry for the long lag. I took Sassy to the vet because she looked like she was done but seemed so big still! I had an xray done and there are no more pups, just the little girl. I guess thats why she was 5 oz!!! haha. She had a lot of room to grow! They weighed Sassy, she is 5.6 lbs!! Woo hoo! She finally gained some weight...lol. We've been trying forever to get weight on her. After they weighed her, I thought for sure she had more in there! She's always been around 4 1/2 lbs. But she's great and the pup is great. I bottle fed the pup for the first 1-2 hrs..maybe longer. She's eating on her own know and moving around a lot, very healthy! Im glad there was a happy ending to this stressful day.
