| Is any one up? Orange boy is not thriving For those who have been following the story, you know who i'm talking about. He's crying and crying. I wiped his bottom with a warm cottonball, and he went poo... I gave him Nutridrop on his tongue. Still crying. Sounds very weak...Cried through his feeding... a different sounding cry. Mom seem distressed about it. like she doesn't know what to do. She gets more upset when I take him out of there, then she leaves the other two crying.... I don't know what else to do... I think I'm losing him. deb |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I hope someone comes on quickly with more my advice than mine.... Here's a link that maybe will help.. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=100703 I've also read he should kept warm before trying to feed him. Good luck and sending prayers for your tiny baby.

| he's only 6 days old today. If you read the thread by lowviscosity, you know what's is going on. He was dehydrated, so we did a sub q on him per Kimberly's previous guidance (which by the way, I used a 3cc not 1cc as i posted) The bubble went down right away, which means he was dehydrated. This is really hard. Should I feed him again now? i fed at 4:00. 2cc's but he wasn't really sucking... just swallowing what I syringed in. |

| If you think you're losing him, take him to the vet. I'm sorry I haven't read the other thread through. But it sounds like he doesn't have any energy to get nutrution. Maybe the vet can give tube feeding instructions. |

| ah..poor little guy. I hope he can make it through. is there anyone that can go get the gas drops for you? someone had mentioned goign to the vet...but if you are alone, that might be hard to do cuz you would have to take all the pups and the mom with you so you dont leave them alone. please keep us posted!!!!
