exactly. this is imo why they are trying to past all these new laws.
regaurdless if it is another money making scam from the goverment the
ball is in our court if you are a ethical breeder you will try your best to educate.
spay/neauter is a must the shelters are full. so people are screaming
it all comes down to this WE MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT
WE DO!!!!!!!!don't just breed to produce just anything. breed for
betterment.No exceptions!!!Its all up to us if we want to be controled or not.


Back 10 years ago you could not find a yorkie you really had to search
they were not out there. then bingo top the charts at #2 and every
street corner has one. I once had a person tell me she breeds to put
a yorkie in every persons house. I laughed but cryed on the inside and
said you are almost there so so sad!!! you know that attitude there
is no quailty in the breeding there can't be.
jmo don't take affense. Everyone is in a uproar over these new laws
well we need to seriously take alook at all the breeding that is going on.
ask yourself this before you breed. Will these babies have a home available
for them will they live there life in a family home or will they be sold 3 maybe 4 times or put in a shelter because of iresponsible breeding.happens all the time.

Look like I said before. If you have nothing to say then don't say anything at all. I'm not looking for your critical thoughts. You act like I'm not sitting here waiting for her to have these puppies. I even slept on the couch with her last night so that I could be with her. Some people have full time jobs and still breed. At least I'm here for her. Or at least I don't have my dogs locked up in cages and have to put a tag on them to be able to tell who is who. I am not breeding for my health. This is my passion and it is FINALLY MY TIME TO GET TO DO WHAT I WANT. I love these dogs. And I promise you that none of them will be homeless. I will personally be keeping some of my puppies. This is not for a money making chance. My family is VERY VERY WEALTHY. All I have to do is stick out my hand and I get whatever I want. My parents own an oil field company. So don't judge me, stop trying to say that I'm in it for the money cause I'm not!

You'll soon learn there are a few mean ones on here who seem to think they should have exclusive rights to the breed. I'm starting to find them kind of entertaining with some of the things they come up with to criticize.

I just find it entertaining to see who the critic is. I have been talking to someone all day, someone who made a comment about hitting the horse. Little did I know that she is no friend at all. And I want all of you to know that she has only been having her yorkies for a few months. AND CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS....she has 6 of them due from the beginning of April to the end of June. She even went on to say how she even took her website off of this YorkieTalk cause all yall do is criticize. AND SHE HAS A FULL TIME JOB AT THAT!!! So who is beating the horse NOW?? Funny how yall love to point fingers but you are doing a worse things than me!!

I am talking about EmrldShdwQueen. I've been talking with her all day. She has 6 litters coming within three months of each other and she is trying to criticize me on three. And she has a full time job.

Ummm...I wasn't criticizing you at all...I was criticizing the people who keep bringing up the subject. That was directed at them. I didn't say that about you...are you kidding? I think you read that the wrong way...

And I don't have 6 litters due in April to June. Brooke has already had her puppies, they will be in new homes by the time the last litter is born. And one of the dogs isn't mine, I'm helping out by whelping the litter then giving them back to her because she is afraid of doing it herself. And Maddie isn't even bred yet. That's exactly what I told you.

And I don't have a full time job...I have 2 part time jobs and I take them to work with me every Tuesday and Thursday, and am able to come home anytime I want on M/W/F...which I have already talked about on here before.

Wow...that was a little harsh for a misunderstanding...:(

And also I haven't only had my yorkies for a few months. I got my first yorkie a long time ago, and I got three of my girls last year...

And my family bred basset hounds for years...I've been there to assist and whelp myself several litters.

Then my mentor let me whelp several litters of yorkies and other small breeds before I EVER started breeding on my own, and I researched all this for over a year before fully deciding to do it. I have also whelped litters for friends when they were out of town or didn't know what to do....so this is not a new thing for me. Yes, MY yorkie breeding is fairly new, but not my experience. I haven't said anything about all this before, because I really never felt the need to bring it all out...and even now I don't know why I am defending myself...:rolleyes: I shouldn't have to...sigh...I think I'm going to follow the trend and stop posting in this section completely. I'm getting too hurt by everything, and I shouldn't be...

No one is trying to put anyone down,
we all need to be realistic about the number of Yorkies being produced.
It is overwhelming and scary as heck.
The government is already trying to pass law after law, everytime you turn your head another state or county has a new legislation and this has all come about because the massive breeding going on everywhere.
I posted the link about the Legislative laws and it appears no one really cares. If we don't start giving a hoot no one will be breeding because we will no longer have that right.

Now that's what I like to see, a misunderstanding resolved with an apology. Chrislynn, I know you've been roundly criticized on this thread (and I've been one of them). Most of the criticism is out of concern for your girls and their babies and some of it has been not so well intentioned. Out of it all, you've been given some good advice and I do hope you use it. Without some laws....puppy mills and pets stores will keep in business.

I agree that some laws are needed to protect these Yorkies and all other breeds we love so much. Because there are so many out there who just don't care and breed for greed.
I just cringe at the thought of dogs being kept in buildings for breeding and breeding and breeding. They never get to know the real love of a human can give them. :mad: :mad: :(
