What do you think? 4 Attachment(s) I posted this in another thread, but didn't get too many responses with just the question: "what's the lastest you've ever had a PG female show?" Mikayla is on her 6th week and has no tummy whatsoever. I guess I just remember how big Brooke was at that point, but because of Kayla's split AND silent heats () I just guessed on her fertile days, and I'm not entirely sure she's pregnant. What do you think? |
Her teats look like she may be. Does she had any ridging at the mammaries? Is her vulva still enlarged? Does she have a mucus plug at the vulva? |
She sure doesnt look it does she?? Maybe she has just one?? |
You know what? As depressing as it may be I decided something....I just had this happen too. I never have guessed a pregnancy before until this last girl and sure enough, she wasn't. So I told myself...if I have to guess if one is pregnant again...then they most probably are not :( I think I tricked myself into thinking she was. Even hubby said he didn't think she was and sure enough she wasn't. Too me...she doesn't look it. I had a ultra sound done just to make sure because I couldn't stand the not knowing. And nothing. I'll keep my fingers crossed but to me, she doesn't look it. (but you never know!) |

My Allie would be 5 weeks this weekend and nothing. If anything she hasnt been eating well since Lea died and is so thin. She's only had one litter, and she had 5. But we couldnt tell then until the last 2 weeks. We really thought she wasnt then also. So we will see.... |
One time I had one that I did not think was pregnant. I could not feel any movement by day 61 so I figured she was not pregnant. She was a 7 lb girl. Low and behold she had a singleton boy on day 70 after her 1st breeding. Your girl might of just conceived late and she might just have 1 or 2 pups. |
I'm bumping this up to get more opinions...:p |
Alright...any change? 4 Attachment(s) Ok, here she is this week. Tomorrow is her 45th day...she has gained 1/2 a lb since last week. Here are her new pics... |
She certainly looks a wee bit pudgier this week. Her teats look very hard as well. I'll go for a tentative yes, maybe a small litter. Recently I breeder I knew wasn't sure right up until the week of the birth. The bitch was a smaller bitch as well, about five pounds. One of my mother's bitches had a litter last year who didn't show until late in the pregnancy but suddenly exploded - she had five. |
She's not really small (7 lbs)...more like the opposite...she's very thick so she may be carrying them up higher. I don't want to feel around her belly too much for fear that I might injure a baby, but she's definitely solid right around the bottom of her ribs on both sides (a new development). I'm still not getting my hopes up, because it could also be a false pregnancy since her heat was so strange this time. However, I do think it's something that she gained 1/2 a lb...that certainly wouldn't happen normally. She still has another 2 weeks to go...so we'll see. I'll do xrays during her last week. She does have smaller litters. Her last just had 1 puppy, her first litter was 3. |
Not a breeder so no help from me;) But i just wanted to say, Congrats if she is:) Her belly looks big to me:p |
Not sure if my Candy is pregnant too? 4 Attachment(s) Today is her 44 days after first tie, she has all signs showing that she should be pregnant. I told her to the vet. and took a xray. but doc said he could not see any skeleton, but he said he can feel like she is pregnant.... CONFUSE.. Well, he said may be she did not conceive at the first tie, want me to bring her back for another xray after 10 days and he is not going to charge me for the xray. Here are some images... what do you think..? Quote:

And to gain 1/2 a lb is good sign too. I'm pretty sure Allie is now. She would be about 6 weeks now And is just starting to show a bit |

That's what I was going to say, is that she probably just has one, possibly 2 |
The bones do not calcify until about 10 days before delivery so it's probably just too early. Did the vet listen for heartbeats? Day 10 is about the average day for ovulation so count 63 days from that point and you may get a more accurate due date. |

My Winnie was pregnant last year with one pup... she never looked pregnant... I took her to the vet in her 9th week... they felt for pups first and said "I don't think she is pregnant...."... they they did an xray and saw the ONE pup. She gave birth 3 days later... ;) Your girl is probably only carrying one pup (or two). Best of luck!! Keep us posted!! :) |
She looks pregnant to me. My Coco just had 4 a month ago, and I swear she had morning sickness through her whole pregnancy. She was so thin, and I was really feeding her all the things she likes to eat. We had a sonogram at 30 days from first breeding and it showed nothing. I had another one a week later and they found three little heartbeats. She didn't show until the last two weeks. We had xrays at 62 days and there were just barely visible three little skeletons. When she finally delivered, she had four puppies. But get this -- they weighed at birth 4.9 oz., 5.6 oz., 5.6 oz. and 6.2 oz. They were NOT small puppies. I still don't know where she hid them. I can't stand not knowing, so we always have a sonogram and xray -- but obviously they aren't fool-proof. We wish you the very best with whatever happens. Yorkie hugs to your little mom. |
It's looking positive... Mikaylas weight today: 7 lbs, 10.4 oz That means she's gained 10.4 ounces since she was bred. I don't think there's really any other explanation for the weight gain, so she must be expecting. :D |

I'm going to get Kayla an xray in her 8th week, just to see, but I know nothing is 100%. Mostly it's just "you'll see when it happens" kind of thing. That's why you have to be prepared for anything! |
So how far long is she now? |
