i just had some one try to scammer
it was an all day thing..had some red flags but i thought they knew something i didnt..stupid me

if i cant give the email and name provided let me know and i will post it

this person started emailing about wanting both my females
i told her i wasnt sure if i wanted to sell both

she emailed me after i sent some updates with pics to everyone who inquired say she wanted both again

she said she wanted to show them..i said they are ckc
she said she can transfer then to akc..i told her no they arent candian
she said she can still show them
she kept asking about the pedigrees and wanting to see them, she email me "her" pedigree which im now quessing is stolen and now i guess mine is too

i said the only way i will sell both is if she placed a deposit before i changed my mind

she said okay...i told her paypal..she said she didnt trust pay pal
then she wanted to mail me a WESTERN UNION money order or a cashier check. i told her no that they are the biggest fraud thing right now and she keeps trying to say how is that possible so i email the news article too her...lol she said she didnt have a bank account anymore. just all kinds of red flags
i guess i will start pming yall the info she gave me

Yipes! Oh wow... Hmm.... I don't know what to say. If she is a scammer, she seems to be pretty good at it.

she stating now that she isnt going to send more than the amount just the amount required and how can it be a scammer if she sends it before the puppies are to go home...but im still not buying it..do you think im wrong?

Well, if she's not a scammer, do you think she will provide a good home for your pups? You can always wait til the money order clears before she gets them right? Follow your guts....

I've never heard of Money orders or cashiers checks to be bad, I've sent those out plenty of times..:confused:

I got an email today from the email address: lookingforyorkie-terrier@yahoo.com

this was the email:
Hi i was interested in your female yorkies
are they still available and if so how much are they
How old are they now and how much do they weigh
I'm very interested in them and can't wait to hear from you
also are they fully akc registered


It seemed a little strange to me but I just responded and let them know the puppies were being sold AKC limited registration and were not ready to go yet. I did not hear back from them. There are so many scams out there you don't know who to trust.

It is too bad that in this day and age we have to even worry about being scammed whether buying or selling a yorkie.. it is a sad sad world we live in sometimes..
glad all was ok with her now.. I can imagine you feeling bad.. oh well people just have to realize this is today....

well we talked on the phone

and she has a litter akc, accident litter, she says she shows in all forms akc and agility type stuff

she wants both my females and we are swaping one of my females for one of her males, unlimited. she sent me a pic of the mom and one baby and the pedigree

the label on the pedigree is IABCAA? Parqurins line?

if you do so, I'd proceed with caution. IABCC means internation champion, I believe, could be wrong though.

Does not ring of truth, and who knows where Babies would end up. I guess consumers/Yorkie lovers are not the only ones being scammed by dishonest breeders!!! It works both ways

You can't transfer CKC to AKC unless the parents ARE AKC! Period! I show AKC and register with AKC and both parents have to be AKC to show AKC. If the yorkies aren't registered AKC then you can't do it. I hope you aren't going to sell to this woman. Sorry but you just can't transfer a CKC dog to AKC without DNA'ing. I'd be calling AKC to verify before making any transactions. JMHO

Are these not good questions to ask? This is what I usually ask when inquiring by email except I don't bother with the registration part because that isn't important to me.:confused:

I guess what I thought was so strange was the persons email address was 'lookingforyorkie-terrier@yahoo.com" and something about the email at first just made me think scam but maybe I was wrong. The questions were fine.

M.O. and Cashiers checks all can be BAD NEWS
 
They are counterfieting them... This why if you go to your local Post office... they should have the charts and info. all posted on these new scams and fake M.O. and Cashier Checks. Ask them for info. they will share it with you. It maybe, on their site? USPS.GOV or USPS.COM But there is lots scams out there!! You have to be careful with PAYPAL AND CHARGE BACKS... I had a friend get burnt on this one. Sold and shipped the puppy--- the person filed a charge back with paypal. He lost his money and puppy YOU MUST STATE ON YOU WEB SITE OR PAYPAL INVOICE THAT "NO CHARGE BACKS AND NO REFUNDS" It's all on paypal-- just click the links and read. THanks

Definately beware of Money orders!! Dont take them!!! I would be VERY leary in selling to this person. And what kind of home are they going to end up in? Be CAREFUL!!!!!!!!
