|  I did break the sacs because I did not want momma getting too rough with this being her first time. It was not all that bad! I thought I might get grossed out, but it was just so joyful!! The placenta was the worst part. I only let her eat two and she threw up one. I know some people don't let them eat the placenta at all, but I think it is their natural instinct to do so and it is supposed to help with their milk supply. It was so funny because momma tried to have them IN my lap!! She wanted to be so close to me. That made me feel special  |

Congratulations on your new litter! I agree that assisting in the delivery of the pups is not all that bad, not bad at all actually. I was hands on when my Lexie had her first litter a few months back, it was much to exciting to be gross. She also had four babies Wishing you continued health for mama and the pups and am looking forward to seeing their first pictures and lots more as they grow.
