i stand corrected by MYSELF:D Guess I need to learn how to read pedigrees and count the gens better. Sorry Tami. |
One of my dogs has a similar pedigree to Renny. I never showed him as he doesnt have "ring" attitude. Charkara lives is Surprise, AZ, Le Chaz is in New Mexico(I think) and Tea Time and Magshire are in Colorado. Lots of dogs have Rene'gade. He produced soooooo many champions and champion producers. Code Talker wasnt shown as he ended up being to big, but Gater ws a big boy also. Good luck with your boy!!And puppies! |
With all this talk about that beautiful boy "getting around" I figured I should check my dogs lol. Lo and behold, he's 3 generations back. Good luck with your boy |

Like Yorkiekist said, Gator's produced so many champions and champion producers. He's a legend for sure.... I think you're right about the Judabob line.... unless a good breeder got a few and knew what they were doing. |

That's a real shame, she's worked so hard to produce a nice line. I'd rather the line end then for it to be ruin with bad breedings (If it were my years of work). Bless her heart, it must've hit her fast for her not to plan well. |

Gator I loved Gator, but would be interested in knowing how many of you actaully saw him in the flseh...he was no a small Yrokie, infact Bobbie said shedid nto show him for a long time due to size, he was so much bigger then pups in his class..and even after she took him back to finish and special, many judges did not look at him twice in BOB... |
Lol Tami...if you want really "unimpress", toss out names to old timers..you are only as good as your next best thing..LOL if the dog is not champion himself or its parents AND grandparents, we seldom look further in the pedigree... The puppy/dog itself is generation one, parents two, grandparents three... I am not putting any dog down who's pedigree has or will be discussed...but this is the way it is...we can breed so carefully for 3, 4, 5 generations and see it turned into average pet quality in one breeding..by two gens is pure pet...this sounds harsh, but I tell you the truth...i |

You are correct as always pat. Anyhow, this thread was meant to post my joy over possible new babies for my first time stud. not to discuss pedigrees. BUT, I took MY OWN thread off topic. No one to blame but lil ole me:p i will eagerly be waiting for that 28th day ultrasound and then waiting to see what gorgeous babies I have. i know I am counting my chickens before they hatch but i would like to be able to keep a couple of girls out of this litter if they look to suit me. |
male You have a lovely potential, I wish you all the best with him and what he produces, which I am sure will be very, very nice. He is far from big...compared to Gator and should have no problems.. |
Big does fine if they are a great dog otherwise. Look at Chandler, weighing in at 6.5 pounds, he's the number 1 yorkie in the country. |

Thank you so much for your encouragement. You and Tami are the best!!!!!! |

size 6.5 is notbig IMO...seriously, Yorkies of 10/12 yrs past were BIG...I saw many 8 and 10 pound champions being specialed...so at 5 pounds I would say Rennie is ideal size today... |
Against many of the other Toy breeds - a larger yorkie just is seen better in the Toy line up, not to mention the all breed line up. It is just a known fact. T. |

He is still young. They usually grow out of it. You can put more air on him from the A/C or fan up and that seems to help my younger ones going for a ride for the first time. I understand and have been there showing a 6 months old and she threw up from being car sick. The air does seem to work. Let me know if it works on him too. T. |
size etc I can admire any size and I do like them a touch bigger... Carsickness is a problem for sure. I had a male who got so sick he couldn't sit up after a few barfs..I got scared. People say ground Ginger works, no clue how much....my daughters Yorkie got sick for a couple years, then we hit on putting her in a wire cage..as long as she can see out, she is fine, a closed carrier made her sick. |

Conner was a year old before he got out of being carsick. Good luck on your new babies. I'm sure they will be beautiful. |
Danali gets car sick too. The judge had me take her around twice trying toget some animation out of her last weekend but she just didn't have it in her. I was told to give them a ginger snap but I may try a bromine as well. She usually loves to show cause she's an attention hog, I really felt bad for her. She was so wet when we got there that I had to take the blow dryer to her. I was feeling a bit green as well from 3.5 hrs. in the back of the van so we made a sad little team. Dee, the best way to do it is just get in there and go for it. Take your guy to the special in March and let Laurie help you out. She's a wealth of information and a wonderful encourager and you'll have the best time. |
