| My Yorkie's Delivery Pix *warning:graphic* I came across some of my Bella's delivery pix of her babies, I thought it would be nice to share. I know I wished I wouldve actually saw what I wouldve seen beforehand! Anyways, here are some of her having some puppies: She had 3, 2F 1M and they are 1 1/2 years old and causing havoc!! |

| If by 'help' you mean supervise and fill in as far as breaking sacks, cutting cords, etc. Then "YES." It is not at all advised to just "let nature take it's course" in regards to a whelp....or the actuallly tie for that matter. |

| whelping Do you have photo's of the "one dry leg" or "oversized, fat head, pup that refuses to budge...those are particularly interesting...I like the ones where the head comes out and turns like that Exocist girls head...oh, and two trying to come at once is exciting also...LOL |

I'd never found a good term to describe those head first young'uns, but 'Exorcist' seems fitting. | |

Here's a link to a site I found. I'm not for sure, but I think this may be a website from a fellow YTer. Anyway, it shows a maltese giving birth with all those things you mentioned above. http://malteseluv.homestead.com/Whelping1.html

| I just had to come back and say this ... seeing the babies AFTER they are born and all cleaned up is just amazing. They're so beautiful and tiny and just perfect. What a blessing that is!! I personally could never be a breeder because I'd pass out cold on the floor LOL but I think all true breeders who love their dogs are just amazing people. It really takes a special person to breed with love.
