possibly puppies today! How long after you notice that your girls temps. drop do they start into labor? I took Abby's this morning and it was 98.3 at around 8. I just took it again and it was still the same. She is rooting around in her whelping box, but all in all fairly calm. Last night she was restless. Could this be the big day?:rolleyes: |

Well so far not much happening. She seems restless and then settles down. Doesn't want me out of her sight. Would also like for me to just hold her. And she keeps looking at me with soulful eyes as if to say what is going on. Took her temp again and it is 98.6 a little higher than this morning, but was taken with the dog thermometer that I keep down stairs. Don't know if that makes any difference as they are both digital. Will keep you posted. :D Deb |
It could be 12-24 hours after the temp drop. It sounds like they'll be coming tonight or in the wee hours. Good luck, fingers crossed for a smooth delivery |
Just took Abby's temp. and it is now at 98.0. She is just laying in her bed and just wanting me to rub her belly. Hope it isn't long. Would be nice to have them during the day. Abby got me up several times last night so am already a little tired, but will be there with her even into the wee hours. Thanks for all the support. Deb |

Don't seem to feel contractions, but can feel puppies moving. Abby is getting restless and looking at her bottom every so often. She is now laying quietly after digging in her bed. Was going to post belly pictures, but file size seems to be to big any suggestions on posting them?:cool: |

We went to the vet last wed. and there are 4 puppies. Hope they come soon. Abby cna't seem to get comfortable. One minute in the bed the next on the floor and then back again. :eek: |

Well nothing so far. Do you guys go to bed or continue to sit up. Abby really isn't doing much. Besides being restless, digging in her bed, and licking. Nothing else seems to be happening. How long does this usually go on???? She kept me up last night so am tired. Thanks Deb :confused: |
Just read this!!! It's the exact same thing Brewser is doing(behavior and temp)-she is due anytime now:) I was up all last night too, and looks like it will be another long night!! Good thing I took "maternity leave" from work:D Can't wait to hear how things go for you. Good luck! |
