| Tootsy in heat and growling all the time! Hi My little Tootsy has been in heat for about 10 days and is still bleeding a little. At first she slept most of the time, but now she is very restless and doesn't seem to know what she wants to do or what she wants to eat. She has become very picky about her food and is eating about half her normal amount. The thing that is puzzling us is this; last night she began growling every few minutes. We looked outside and around the house to see what could possibly be worrying her but found nothing. We checked her bed and her nappy to see if it was comfortable (in the end we took the nappy off in case it was bothering her) but she still carried on growling. We tried cuddling her, rocking her, stroking her, but it didn't help. She does not appear to be in any pain and is not constipated. She is drinking a little more water than usual but not a lot. She asks to play but soon gets bored with whichever game we are playing with her. She still enjoys her walk, but as soon as she gets home she is restless and growling. Is this hormonal or has a ghost moved into our house!! LOL? Luv Franceen |
