Puppy Watch??
 
By my calculations Holly has about 9 days to go, but I was told that she might go a little early and Last night i took her temp and it was 100.0- I just took it tonight and it was 99.2, what do you guys think? I took it because she has been acting funny, not in a bad way though. So from what you have been experienced with welping do you think it is close?

Well, from what I have experianced and have seen posted on YT....your guess is as good as any LOL. Seriously though, I've seen here temps go up and down for days before whelping actually gets going. But from my personal experiance just 8 weeks ago, I didn't even get a chance to start taking Lexie's temperature as she surprised us and had her pups a week before her due date (figured from her first tie). Alot of help I am.....huh? Good luck and as always, keep us posted.

I think you have a least a few days left!! But you can never really say! My Lola is due any day now and her temp has been under 100 for the past 4 days, and nothing so far but good luck to you!!

temp will flux this is why you need a chart. you will see a pattern and once there is a dip, this is when you need to be on watch. their temp can drop and spike up again but once it stays down, you know it will be soon

I think she had her dip in temp was 99.2 3 days ago. Took tonight, and she is back at 100.4, which is where she was at on around the 2nd of this month. I look for weekend puppies, hopefully she will go Sunday, I am off that day, but knowing her, she wont, lol, but I will continue posting. Thanks Guys

Ok guys I think we might have a real puppy watch here. Took Hollys temp at about 2am Fri morning and it was 100.4, took again at 2pm and it was 99.4, took again when I got home from work about 11pm, and it is 98.6-so what do you think? She is restless and antzy, but I havent noticed her milking yet, but I think she is really getting ready. The vet said she would welp between friday and monday. Please let me know, and I will be on here with updates!!

Holly was digging at things and shreaded some toilet paper she found on the floor, and now she is resting in her whelping box.

How is Holly doing this morning? Any puppies last night? I'm in the exact same spot with Cleopatra although she hasn't had anything yet, she's on day 65 with 4 puppies in there and NOTHING yet... Hope you had either a peaceful restful night or nice healthy pups..maybe ours will come today!

Ok guys so far we have 5!!! One more in there. We had the first one at 10:40am it was a girl, another girl at 10:57, a boy at 11:07, a girl at 11:30, and another girl at 12:05, here are some pics, by the way Holly and pups are doing great so far!! :D :D :D

Ok guys, Holly is done, all she had was 5 in her, puppies are doing good, she had a nice warm bath to freshen up and hopefully we can ALL get some better sleep tonight, thanks so much for everyones help and info!!

Congratulations!! it is a nice litter, there. I love the coloring on the mommy too, is she all golden blond? It seems like one of the babies may be having her color, right? :)

Yes, Holly is all golden blonde, and the one that you noticed is the one that we are keeping. LOL hubby told me before she had them that I WAS NOT allowed to keep one, I said ok and when she was born he said "oh she is gorgeous, we are keeping her. I just had to laugh, but it sure made the kids happy. But anyways here are a few of Holly from when I got her to her now.

wow what a big litter! i thought four was big....well it was big for my lil girls first litter! but anyway adorable puppies! is there a chocolate one or is it just the way im looking at it?

yes she is chocolate colored
