Now, how many dogs have people seen that could "pass" as purebred, but in fact are mixed? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- And how many purebred AKC dogs look mixed? |
That why you do research and visit many breeders before purchasing a puppy of whatever breed wanted. There are no registries that guarantee quality of the puppy or the integrity of the breeder. |
1 Attachment(s) The first Yorkie I bought was CKC. The breeder I bought her from had all AKC Yorkies and was "switching" her kennel to CKC "because of the new fees and DNA drama with AKC". I saw pictures of my Trini's parents, sire was AKC and dam CKC and did not understand the difference at that time and fell in love with her face and got her. All my others are AKC...I would have it no other way. I definately prefer AKC registered Yorkshire Terriers. I also want to begin attending AKC shows and showing Yorkies myself. :p Here is a pic of my CKC Yorkie Trini who I trust is full Yorkie :animal36 but I definately feel more secure with AKC  |
