My whelping area is complete, now all I need is Baby to go into labor! :rolleyes:

Yep....looks like the delivery room is all ready. May Baby have a quick and easy delivery with healthy happy pups. :)

What a great job on Baby's whelping area/station! You are certainly ready, Baby's in the box...go Baby go! All of us here on YT are ready to meet your puppies too! :D

I see she is already testing it out...is she getting close you think.

You seem so nervous and anxious Missy. It's hard to tell if you are Baby are going to have the tougher time through all of this.;)

Glad you're ready......do you have another small box to put the pups in, just in case she get's acrobatic while delivering the next one.

I bought a small litter box to keep the pups in while mom is giving birth, I was washing it in the dishwasher while I took that pic, but yup, I have a extra box :)

Still no pups :( Her temp was 99 even this morning. She ate, she seems active. I'm beginning to think these pups like it so well in there mommies belly that they are going to just stay there lol
How long should I let her go before I call the vet? She will be 62 days on the 17th from her 2nd tie.

unless she is showing signs of distress, let her go till the time is up from the second tie. some don't even go until sixty five days but I get worried on the 63 day and fortunately, I have never had one go beyond that. i like your whelping box but you will also need a confined area because those babies will climb over the side and be scooting around everywhere at about three weeks old. do you have your set up in an x-pen? If not, you need one that way babies can't get scattered all over the place when they scramble out of the whelping box.

I have a ex pen that I will be putting up as soon as they arrive :)

it looks so neat and tidy. its been awhile since i have had puppies but all i remember is everything going everywhere when it is whelping time.

Looks all nice and tidy. :) Best of luck to the both of you. Can't wait to see the puppies. I just found out for sure today that I'll be having little ones soon too! :D So, seeing how you made your whelping box has helped me on setting up mine. :thumbup:

her new nickname has become Miss Waddles, poor baby is so huge lol she HAS to be about ready to pop!

Will the pups become less active when it gets about time?

Well your all ready I see, but wheres the babies,lol!! I swear they test our patience by having them on their terms not ours. You must be going nuts waiting for her to decide to whelp, Good luck.

Baby had some white snot looking stuff coming from her peepee area, is this a sign?? She also threw up some cottage cheese. and as we speak she is licking her privates.

Hmmmmm, sounds like it might be the start of something to me. Have you taken her temperature today? Don't let her out of your sight....is she due?

yes she is 62 days today, i have been taking her temp 3 times a day for the past few days. at 2 it was 98.2

well still no puppies, but her temp has stayed around 97.7-98.2 for the past 4 hours. She has been nesting since 7:30am, still eating, no vomiting, pacing around, and trying to find hiding places.

I'm home alone, my hubby had to go to work and so did my daughter. Hubby don't get home till 7pm this evening. you guys are all I have if she decides to go this afternoon!

She doesn't have the big bulge on her sides any more, her sides are still firm but not has big as they had been, so maybe she is dropping? I do feel the pups more towards her private, 1 on each side and one in the middle down by her private.

she keeps going under my dresser and digging. How long should I let her nest? When I call her name she won't come out. I can reach under and get her so no worries, but i think she just wants to stay away from the other 2. Rocky tried to come close to her and she bout took his head off lol

i'm no expert here on breeding but i guess as long as she's in a reachable spot she's ok because you can scoop her up and put her in her box. I'd keep the rest of the crew out of the room and away from her tho. She may not want to have her babes while they are around.

I planned on putting them up. She is still under my dresser.
