| heat question when your dogs are in heat do they sleep tons and not want to eat? lacey hasnt eaten much for the last week or wanted to play at all, all she wants to do is snuggle, and she looks skinnier to me.

| Lily went into her first heat (which came too quick--as I wanted to get her spayed before then). She was really tired and definitely cuddled a lot more than usual. I wasn't sure at first why she only wanted me to hold her but I am pretty sure it was because she wasn't feeling too well. Lily still ate and played but not as much as usual. Hope this helps..now I just have to figure out when it is safe for her to get spayed!

| Mine gets kind of reclusive when she is in heat. And occasionally she throws up. It differs from female to female, but behavior/eating habits changing is completely normal. |

| All of my females act differently. But I hate it most when Sammie goes into heat. She's just droopy and so unlike herself. If I didn't know she was in heat I would be worried to death that she was really sick. But after the heat, she's back to her old self. Hyper and funny!
