Decision

OK, I have decided to have Brody neutered. I have done a lot of research and think this is the best decision. I don't want to risk a female, first of all. Second, I do not want Brody spraying everything in sight after his first mating. Plus, add to those the cost of pretesting and finding the right mate and everything else, I just do not have the time to put into it. I don't want to risk testicular cancer either.
Brody is a special dog- spoiled rotten, with a lot of love to give.
I also have a question for anyone to give advice on:
Brody still poos in his kennel. I have sectioned it off to give him as little room as possible and still he continues. He will sleep in the craziest positions just so he can poo in one corner! Not anywhere else in the house- just in his kennel. How do I get him to stop this????

![]() | I think that neutering Brody is a good decision, for all of the reasons you've listed.Sebastien is still not neutered only because I am showing him.Once he's done in the ring we will definitely have him neutered. As far as the poohing in the corner the only thing I can think of is to put a pee pad where he poohs and give him more room.Is he pee pad trained ? Maybe when he gets used to poohing on the pad you can put the pad where ever you want it. Our 2 are peepad trained and it's pretty cold here in Montreal now so they don't get out for weeks at a time |
