![]() | i had a yorkie at just had a leg perthes surgery and they extracted 4 of his teeth too without my consent. I ended up not paying for it bc i did not give permission. they said their teeth will eventually push together. his mouth was too over crowded. |

![]() | Not to many people read the blogs, there are more for personal diaries. To learn how to use Yorkietalk and post on the forums, see this thread. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...orkietalk.html. It sounds like this would be a good question for the health forum. Yorkie Health & Diet - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community I personally would be glad for a vet to do this sort of thing, otherwise they would have had to put the dog to sleep twice, and there is always a risk with anesthesia. Another vet would not have pulled the teeth, but insist you do it at another time for the health of the dog, and it would have cost you another $300.00 for the anesthesia, plus the actual cost of pulling the teeth, so I think you have found yourself a great vet, and I would send him a check for the extra money. It was important that he pull these teeth overcrowding leads to decay with the other teeth. |

![]() | Re;Dear Nancy I know my vet is incompetent. He needed to advise me, he is not certified orthodontist. I have send my dog to have her teeth clean, not to been extracted without my permission. Dog and children have no voices. We are there voices; we need to protect them from incompetence and medical malpractice in this case. Regards, ![]() DOLCE |
