Need help w/male yorkie 5 years old

My little guy has started acting strange in the last few days. He usually loves to sit in my husband's lap when he's on the couch but lately he'll get in your lap, stay a couple of minutes and jump off. He keeps running to either the back porch or the window. He just won't sit still with us anymore. He also keeps rubbing his ears on the couch or rugs but I don't see any fleas or mites. He's eating/drinking/pottying all like normal. Any ideas?

	its possible there is a female in heat around you. BE CAREFUL when you open doors (my friends white german shepard bolted out of the door to get to a female in heat once). Just an idea thou.
