The Death of Smokey

Hello -- my name is Kita, and I lost my beloved Smokey last Friday by being hit by a car. I am so devestated and filled with grief. I thought I was doing the right thing by leaving him with an older couple while I moved, but they were walking him, and he got away from therm. They told me he was dead, but in fact they were driving around town trying to find an emergency vet clinic, and all were closed. They brought him back to the house I immediately grabbed him and took him to an emergnecy clinic that were my sister worked. Smokey held on until I put him in the Doctors arms. A few minutes later they told me him was gone. I have never grieved the loss of a dog so much as I have my Smokey. He had such personality and he was so funny. It was like he was born just for me. He is still in the Freezer at my sisters vet, because I don't know if I shoud bury him or creamate him. I just don't know what to do. I don't know if I should get another dog or wait. I simply cannot stop crying long enough to think. If anyone can help me please reply back to my blog.
