We try to keep Cashmere groomed and clean cut. It is hard when she squirms around so much. She lets up brust and cut to an extend. She has these mat's of hair all over her fur. They are close to her skin so im afraid to cut them that i might clip her skin. She wont sit still for me to comb them out and i know it must hurt her. Any ideas to help my baby and her messy hair??

![]() | When Sasha matted her fur like that, I took her to the dog groomers and got her groomed. NOt good for me when I had to be with out her all day though. ARe you using scissors? cause they sell doggie clippers at walmart. Thats what i have and now i do all the grooming myself. Sasha keeps with a short puppy cut. Its very easy to maintain and not so easily matted. You might have to shave pretty close to the skin just make sure u have a guard on it. O wouldnt suggest using it by itself because theres a risk of cutting of burning the skin. Also be super carefull the inside of the the legs. Theres a fold of skin on each leg at the top by their body and you dont want to cut that. It might not be perfect your first time, but youll get the hang of it. I been doing it for a few months now and havent been able to cut everything the way i want it. Also I have that with grooming sasha communication is key. Every few minutes i stop and let her kiss me andremind her that its mommy doing it. This may work for cashmere. Best wishes Let me know if this is helpful at all |
