New Yorkie Owner!

I am a fairly new Yorkie Owner! And can I just say that I am totally in love!? I have to admit....
I was against this kind of breed at first. When I was younger, my babysitter had two yorkies, who barked consistently!! I had heard they were yippers and ankle bitters.....
Even after all of that negative gossip and experience, I took a chance on a pup I fell in love with as soon as I laid eyes on her! She had two other siblings and she was the "runt" of the group, but not because she was smaller, but because she had longer legs then the other two, she was quite bigger than her siblings. The breeder said she would be a good pick because then I wouldn't have to worry about her legs getting hurt from jumping off high things. That made since, her sister that my friend has, is way smaller than Winnie, but Winnie is only 12lbs, and has a better personality then her sister, her sister barks alot!! I think I got lucky!!
She has been the highlight of my days since I got her. I just graduated from college and was moving into my first home and I knew it wouldn't be complete without her!
She has been there for me through everything! My parents recently got divorced and I was going through alot of life changes during this time I got her. I know she got me through some bad times, but was there for the good ones as well.
I would recommend a yorkie to all my friends and family, she has the best personality and doesn't ever leave my side! I couldn't ask for a better dog! I LOVE YOU WINNIE!

![]() | They are very easy to fall in love with. I always liked big dogs until we brought sasha home last christmas. It all started with her sticking her head in my bananna pudding. I wasnt mad she wouldnt eat the day before. I always feel bad for punishing her and she knows it. When she gets in trouble she sneeks up on me and kisses me and how can you stay mad at a face like that? They are very easy to spoil Sasha definately was. Mention the word grandpa or truck and she starts with the running to the door and crying. She loves her grandpa. They are loud for such little dogs. Sasha gets really loud when she wants to play or wome ones is on the porch. But they are also calm enough to cuddle with. She loves laying on my chest and getting her tummy scratched. Wow 12 lbs!!!! sasha wieghs 8 and i thought that was alot. Not enough o put her on some special diet cause really she eats just her food besides the occasional oatmeal cookie. We really hope you and winnie develop a good bond like we have. Shes my little princess and she knows it lol. |
