My baby's first heat help

Lucy has been bleeding and spooting for 4 weeks now is this normal because she is so tiny?
I am having her spade over the Christmas holidays. Thank you Regina

	You might get more responses if you put this in the health and diet section of YorkieTalk. Four weeks is a long time to bleed. Usually it is about a week coming in, a week in and a week going out. How old is she? I wouldn't do a spay if she is in heat if it can be avoided. Bleeding is more of a concern and it makes the surgery riskier. I would wait at least 4-6 weeks after she is done.
