My precious Georgia is 10 years old, Thursday she had her usual vaccine shots at her Vet, next day Friday afternoon went to the groomer who I trust 100%, I picked her up and everything was normal, after about an hour I noticed she was having difficulties breathing, inmediatly took her to the Emergency Clinic where they kept her all night under observation, administered oxygen and took X-rays that showed something in her lungs or an enlarged esophagus. Next day after picking her up from the ER, took her to her Vet that took additional X-rays with contrast media and finally diagnosed as having
Bronchopneumonia , she is taking two different antibiotics and resting. I hear her coughing at night and not so much during the day, she is doing a lot better. Doctors don't know why she has this and of course I am very worried. Any comments?

![]() | hiHi, Lily had pneumonia after jumping in the creek and now we are 3 weeks out and almost a clean bill of health.......almost there though........ antibiotics, pediatric robistussin which really helped loosen things up (4 x day), showers for the steam 3x a day with chest clapping after to loosen mucus, a piedatric puppy vitamin, and grilled chicken b/c she lost her sense of smell and stopped eating. She had to be rushed back in a second time for IV, and developed an eye infection secondary. WOW, oh and my kids vaporizer into her crate at night. My vet is fantastic and she'll go back next wednesday for her final check. GOOD luck. If she gets in trouble, the shower and chest clapping really helped. Kimberly and Lily |
