sassy's surgery
Posted 04-20-2008 at 08:47 AM by ownedbysassy
sassy was spayed on 4-7 and stitches removed on 4-18
we cried when we had to leave her,
she did so well. my granddaughter and i went to our place at the lake so sassy could get lots of rest and heal quickly.
it is now 4-20 and you would never know she had surgury almost 2 weeks ago, she is back to her normal self

![]() | Glad to hear that Sassy has healed well. Hot Rod slept for a few days but he was up and jumping on the couch when he wasn't supposed to be! |

![]() | way to go furge ![]() it was a very hard to decide to do or not to do. we wanted to see what beautiful life sassy could produce, but we also wanted sassy to have a long life. we were afraid she would have problems. then we said if we ever wanted another yorkie for sassy to play with it would be better to just buy another than risk sassy's life if anything went wrong. |

![]() | if something went wrong we would just.....oh I don't even want to go there....I wanted to get Furgie a friend but one is all I can handle. Sorry Furgie. We do have an out side doggy but I only let them play before Furgies bath time. |

![]() | Speaking of spay/neuturer???Please help me prepare for these surgeries on my babies. I have Nini (Morkie, girl, 6 months) and Nicky (Biewer, boy, 4 months). The vet has said that we'll wait for Nini to go through her first cycle, then we spay. We haven't discuss Nicky yet, I understand that we have time with him. So...My question is, what's involved in this surgery? Cut in the stomach? Large? I'm afraid and I don't want to ask the vet because he might sugar-coated for me due to he's knowing of my ability to freak-out in under a split-second flat ![]() But, I don't want a surprise either. What should I prepare for??? How bad is it? Should I bring lots of tissue with me (for the crying---me, but specially my husband ![]() Thanks ![]() |
