Can anyone help me? We have a 5 year old yorkie that we trained to a pad in just a couple of days (he was 10 weeks old.) 2 months ago we adopted a approx. 2 year old rescue yorkie. We were told she was doggie door trained, so we had a doggie door put inand she uses it when the weather is perfect days that the weather is not to her liking she uses the carpet. We have tried and tried to get her to use a pad but no luck. We thought it would be easy since Charlie uses one all of the time that Maggie would just follow his lead. Maggie is the sweetest little yorkie that you could ever imagine. please help me if you can. thank you Pat

![]() | PapertrainingHi there! My little Keesha is 4 months tommorrow and we have had her for a week. I want her paper/pad trained as we work throughout the day. We put her outside as long as weather is okay and want her to learn both techniques if possible. I have read that you should try doing a whole entire room to get them use to the paper. As they get praised and look more confident, take away some paper/pads gradulally. Could be a week or more but worth it! I am gonna try tonight. Cross your fingers any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. |
