Washable Swiffer type pads!!

If your like me with pets, 3 kids and living on a dusty ranch. I needed a way to keep the dust off the floors and do my spot cleaning. I love my Swiffer but hated to purchase all those pads just to throw them away!

I have made my own and now will share them with you.

Duster pads are made with a nice microfiber with hidden layers to help trap the dirt. After done useing, just take them outside or over the trash and shake off the excess dirt. Toss in the wash when needed.

I need to get with my mother to see if she still has your swiffer!!
I don't know if yours was a Swiffer or not, but it had the pads that you can use and then it was a vacuum too.

I use/make them for ALL!! The regular swiffer and the vacuume one & the Swiffer wet jet for spot cleaning. I can even adjust for the Clorox model wet mop.!!

Also, does these fit the Pledge floor cleaner?

I have the Swiffer jet.....I think that's what it's called. It has the cleaner in a bottle attached to it and squirts onto the floor. I love it for in-between cleanings! But, you're right, the pads can get expensive because I use mine pretty much daily.

Will your pads fit that kind?

Hi Jen,
These are made in two ways, One fits the Swiffer wet jet mop with velcro attachments. It is made with a combination of Terry, Flannel and Microfiber

The second fits both the Swiffer Sweep and Vac and the regular swiffer mops - Meant for dry cleaning, but you are able to flip them over for a quick wet pickup.
I have not seen the pledge floor mop before, but If you can get me measurements or point me where to find them in the stores I am sure I can alter my pattern to fit (if needed)

Yes I make both wet and dry mop styles.

AND.... With every wet pad purchase, I also include a free guide to convert your bottle to a refill along with a couple at home recipes for cleaning solution!

I did use my bottle as a refill once in an emergency lol

How long do these washable pads last? Does washing affect the microfiber? I guess what I'm asking is how many times can they be washed and reused?

They do great. Sometimes after my wash I get a couple stray fuzzies that I need to pick off mine are going on 6 months. and I have about 8 that I rotate & I usually throw them in the wash wih my towels or socks So I guess it would depend on how often you use the same one & how you treat it. LOL - No scrubbing concrete with them LOL

LOL well fortunately, I have no concrete to scrub. I use my swiffer jet daily on the kitchen and bathroom floors, and then I scrub them every weekend. The swiffer is great for the in-between cleanings. I just might have to try these!

Thanks for asking.
Yes The wet pads work for those.
The wet secure with the touchtape on the bottom where the dry tuck in the tuck slots located on top of the dry swiffer mop.
