| ![]() and I'm already freaking out ![]() I totally trust my vet and I know they do tons of these a year. I remember hearing there's a certain type of anathesia I'm supposed to ask about? And I'm going to have them do the blood work and all. And Bella is 10 pounds, I plan one getting her a onesie. Will a premie one fit her or do I need one a shade bigger?

| ![]() Good Luck! I'm not sure about the anethesia, I've had plenty of dogs fixed but I didnt' realize there was more than one kind of anethesia. I would probably go with a 0-3 months onesie so it isnt' too tight. |

| ![]() Bella's uber long. I looked at the 0-3 months then at the 3-6 and ended up buying the 3-6. It fits her pretty well. I heard there's a couple of different anethesias. The blood tests they do beforehand should tell them if one would pose a problem to them. But I thought I remembered one kind being better for them an another.

| ![]() Just to update on Johnny's neutering. He was neutered this morning and I brought him home mid-afternoon. He's very groggy, drooling a bit, and sleeping on this bed or in my lap...not interested in water or any food yet...2 1/2 hrs after bringing home. Vet said he did well...no steps for about 5 days and not to get him excited either. I feel so awful for him. Hope he's back to being Johnny real soon! ![]() |

| ![]() I slept downstairs next to Johnny's bed last night. He was restless and got up quite a few times to move around and get comfortable...didn't crate him. In the early morning hours, he was giving me kisses and is back to eating, drinking, and moving around like normal. He's feisty when it pain pill and antibiotic time. He went out to pee and did the steps-3 of them-to come back inside by himself. Hope my postings are going to help you know what to expect with Bella. Good Wishes... ![]() |

| ![]() I dropped her off this morning. No tears from me but she looked so sad. I had them run all the bloodwork on her because I was concerned about her genetics. I don't know much about her parents and she already has an overbite so I wanted to make sure there were no other issues. I called around 11 and she was still in surgery ![]() So now, I'm sitting at home, missing Bella. Bridget's wandering around, wondering where she is, I'm sure. I'll pick her up tomorrow around 1 pm and stay with her. I'm glad Johnny's feeling better. Bridget was up and about immediately after her spay, she has a really high pain tolerance. I'm sure Bella's going to be a little slower moving.

| ![]() Good to hear Bella has come out of the surgery but it's a worry leaving the furbaby at the vet over night. Just think of how happy she will be when you see her and that you didn't have to see her while she was heavily sedated. take care |
