| ![]() Just got the allergy test results for my 6yo yorkie. Allergic to wheat, yeast, barley, carrots, chicken and turkey. Due to other health issues she should also avoid banana, ham/pork trying to doctor some of the recipes from pitcairn and whole pet diet to be suitable for her....suggestions welcome |

Was she eating chicken before? Bc I bet you'll be amazed once you get her off of it. The changes can practically be immediate!

| ![]() How about whitefish as Wylie's Mom suggested, along with maybe: sweet potato brown rice applesauce tofu salmon green peas green beans zucchini I would stay away from corn, many furbabies are allergic to that too. Maybe also try potato flour and make "bread" that you can crumble up? I would suggest eggs, but if she is allergic to chicken, then maybe not?

| ![]() My sister makes a rice porridge for Zippy, mostly because he is senior and to be able to mix in all his medication. I think that could be an option for your also. In your case you could use white rice, brown rice (need to use alot more water, and cook longer), beef, or fish mixed in with broccoli, sweet peppers, squash, sweet potatoe, etc. Its a bit sloppy when they eat it, but it gives them the mouth feel of canned moist food which all of our dogs preferred over dry. |
